Unit stills are an opportunity to create a visual document of the filmmaking process. These images directly affect the project's profitability, so I take pride in providing a stack of images thick enough to supply the needs of publicists, producers, and distributors. Whether shooting from a nook between camera crew or dangerously close to sound, I navigate the space available to maximize content and minimize my footprint.
Events are photographed in a style between BTS stills and portraits: I observe from the periphery, documenting moments without knowledge of participants in a classic candid style... I also capture moments from within, establishing a close proximity with my subject and interacting directly with them.
